Immigration Medical

At The North End Health Centre, we have a 20 year history of providing successful immigration medicals to the people of North Otago and South Canterbury. We are a registered provider of immigration medicals for Immigration New Zealand and are part of the INZ physician network.

On arrival, you will be asked to complete a form providing your personal details, including questions about your visa application. You will be asked to sign a consent declaration form. The receptionist will take your photo and attach the photo to your electronic immigration medical records.

A nurse will undertake your initial tests and observations and we will arrange the required blood tests and X-rays at the nearby Oamaru Hospital the results of which will be submitted electronically to Immigration New Zealand.

You will have your medical examination with the doctor. You will be asked to provide a urine sample during the examination. You will have an eye test, so please bring your glasses if you have them.

The doctor will submit your immigration medical to Immigration New Zealand for processing at the time of your examination, and will provide you with written confirmation from Immigration New Zealand of them receiving it.
